Our LED dance brand, Tron Event Agency, is proud to announce the debut of our new attraction—the pixel LED robot. Standing at an impressive 2.5 meters tall, this walking marvel is perfect for captivating audiences at exhibitions and parties.
Technical Specifications #
Thanks to nearly 2,000 individually controlled pixel LEDs adorning its body, the robot is seamlessly controlled using the LED Ethernet Controller 3. However, we have enhanced its capabilities by integrating standard Wi-Fi and DMX Wi-Fi to ensure flawless performance without any interruptions.
Why two wireless technologies? #
Despite the reliability of standard wireless networks used by Ethernet devices, problems arise when there are a large number of users. To mitigate this, we use standard Wi-Fi for testing and developing presentations. When the show is ready to go, we seamlessly switch to wireless DMX for synchronization purposes.
Yes, you heard that right—synchronization. Our use of DMX goes beyond simply triggering scenes; it facilitates synchronized data transmission to the robot. Even if the initial signal reception is disrupted, the robot automatically synchronizes with the master (computer) upon receiving wireless DMX data. This serves as a fail-safe to ensure uninterrupted performance.
What is the purpose of such a robot? #
With all these pixels, clients can display logos, text, or even videos on the robot’s surface. People love taking photos with it, especially when it’s moving. We think it’s amazing!
