Guess My Age is a very popular European TV show from Vivendi Entertainment. The main goal for contestants is to guess a person’s age as accurately as possible. The Slovak TV station JoJ has decided to launch this show in Slovakia as well. And, of course, they designed a brand-new TV studio for the show.
The backdrop of the TV studio consists of LED screens combined with our analog LED strips. In my opinion, the most beautiful feature is the ellipses in the center—each can be controlled independently, which is used quite often during the show.

We also used approximately 500 meters of digital LED strips in the studio. They are installed in the floor and inside the large arrow in the center.
The arrow is also part of the game—contestants can zoom in on a person to more easily guess their age. We also installed DMX-controlled motors that move the arrow.
All lighting effects used on the digital LED strips are programmed directly in LED Strip Studio software. The lighting operator simply sends DMX commands to our LED Strip Studio Ethernet board to switch between the running sequences.

We think Guess My Age is a very nice and modern TV studio. The lighting designers did a really great job using all kinds of lighting – LED screens, moving heads, and our digital and analog LED strips.
