Classic design with added value. Our special LED bulbs have two filaments—one for warm white and one for cool white.
You can use them in a classic E27 socket and control them via the WS2811 protocol (or using the DMX protocol when using an additional SPI LED controller). This way, they can provide not only a pleasant, mood-setting light source, but you can also play simple animations on them. With our software and the LED Ethernet Controller 3, you can even create animations synchronized to music.
POWERED BULB DIMMER – DUAL POLARITY is a special 64-channel bidirectional SPI dimmer with a built-in power supply designed for dimming 31–33 V bipolar LED devices with constant voltage (CV) and anti-parallel LED connections.
Description
Pack of 64 EDISON CCT LED bulbs with warm/cool white and a POWERED BULB DIMMER – DUAL POLARITY controller to adjust their brightness.
The EDISON CCT bulb contains 3 cool white filaments and 3 warm white LED filaments.
The filaments are connected in anti-parallel, which means that DC voltage applied in one polarity lights up the filament with one color temperature, and reverse polarity lights up the filament with the other color temperature. This allows for the use of a standard E27 socket with a two-wire connection. The bulb’s operating voltage is 32 V.
By using a dual-polarity dimmer, you can mix individual color temperatures, blend them smoothly, and dim them independently. A suitable dual-polarity dimmer from the LED Strip Studio family is the “Xmas dimmer.” You can control each color temperature using the globally used WS2811 lighting protocol (or using the DMX protocol with a separate SPI LED controller).
